Elaboration of the structural part of the project documentation for the given structure (part of the structure). The design of the selected variant of the structure with regard to the requirements of other professions. Structural analysis and drawing documentation to the extent specified during consultations.
The Department of Architectural Engineering (K124) and Geotechnics (K135) collaborate in teaching in the course.

1. Choice of suitable building (architectural study, papers and figures presented in civil engineering and architectural journals etc.), analysis of building and boundary conditions.
2. Preliminary design of 3 suitable structural systems based on complex analysis of building. Sketch of variants of structural system.
3. Choice of variant for further analysis. Preliminary analysis and specification of chosen structural system.
4. Calculation of loading. Preliminary analysis of loadbearing structures. Structural drawings for each floor. Preliminary design of foundations.
5. Structural drawings. Choice of structural members for detailed analysis.
6. Detailed structural analysis and drawings of assigned elements, Technical report. Consultation of structural drawings, calculations, drawings of reinforcement layout, details. Foundations design and drawings.
